Meet John W. Lepore, DDS, FAGD, PLLC
Dr. Lepore has been in practice for over 25 years. He is the founder of Advanced Endodontic Solutions and Implant Dentistry with current practices in Fairport and Canandaigua NY.
Dr. Lepore received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine in 1992. He completed a general practice residency at University Hospital at Stony Brook, New York and worked as a general dentist in East Setauket, New York. He later received a specialty Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Connecticut Health Center, Department of Endodontology in Farmington, Connecticut where he served as chief resident. He has held faculty positions at Strong Memorial Hospital and is an associate professor at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontology and a clinical professor at Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, as well as a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, two of the highest professional certifications in his field. Dr Lepore is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the Misch Implantology Institute and has achieved the status of Recognized Specialist from the Kois Center for Continuing Education. In addition Dr. Lepore holds a Master of the College of Sedation in Dentistry. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Nitrous Oxide and oral sedation as well as an advanced certification in IV Sedation.
Dr. Lepore has lectured on numerous endodontics topics including: microscope based endodontics, endodontic microsurgery, NiTi rotary file instrumentation, obturation techniques, non-surgical endodontic retreatment, perio / endo combined pathology, endodontic diagnosis, re-treatment vs apicoectomy and endoseous implants vs. endodontic treatment and 3D imaging with Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
